Lynetta Hale, MFT, LPT, CATC is the Community Medical Liaison (CML) with Janssen Neuroscience, the Medical Affairs division of Janssen Pharmaceuticals, covering the state of California. The Janssen CML team consists of social workers, therapists, and nurses located throughout various regions of the country. Lynetta comes from 32 years of experience working in various capacities in the mental health treatment field including as a licensed psychiatric nurse, a certified addictions treatment counselor, and as a program director. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Trauma Studies Concentration. Most recently, Lynetta worked as a Program Director leading a team at a Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health-contracted day treatment program with a residential component. She has also directed the assessment and admissions departments at two inpatient psychiatric facilities and has worked in the in-custody forensic setting. Lynetta has a wealth of clinical and systems navigation experience that serves patients living with SMI, caregivers, and treatment teams, utilizing the free Choices in Recovery curriculum and website. These resources align nicely with evidence-based practices and curricula, currently in use.
