Jenna Reinen, Ph.D.

Jenna Reinen, Ph.D. is a Research Scientist at IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center, working in the Digital Health and Computational Psychiatry groups. Since joining IBM in 2017, her research has focused on developing AI-driven digital health tools to detect, monitor, and treat conditions such as psychosis and chronic pain, work that was recognized with IBM’s Technical Merit Award in 2022. She has also led efforts to create multimodal neuroimaging models that predict health outcomes by integrating brain, behavioral, and digital data. Her current focus is on leveraging artificial intelligence and natural language processing to responsibly support mental health through mobile and digital platforms, with an emphasis on clinical utility, ethical responsibility, and participant trust.
