Tom Haglund, CPA, MBA

Tom Haglund is the Chief Financial Officer at Rise, Inc., a Minnesota-based social service organization that specializes in vocational services for persons with disabilities.  Tom has more than 30 years in the field of accounting and finance.  He began his career in public accounting and subsequently served both as the lead accountant at a variety of businesses and as a consultant performing wide-ranging services. Over the last decade, Tom has devoted his professional attention to the nonprofit sector, specializing in social service organizations, associations and educational institutions.  His primary areas of expertise include financial analysis, budgeting and planning, audit compliance and improving accounting functions and controls. Tom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and his credentials include a CPA license and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration.
